A neoprene hood with a smooth exterior suitable for lightly contaminated water diving. Particularly suitable for biological contaminants.

The Surveyor latex hood is permanently attached to a suit and provides a basic level of protection for contaminated water diving.

• Ideal for biological contaminated water diving
• Latex neck seal must be attached to the suit underneath the hood
• Important Note: The Surveyor latex hood must be used in conjunction with a thermal liner to provide thermal insulation and to protect the ears.

An 8mm foam laminate hood, manufactured to be used as a thermal liner for Viking Turbo and Magnum vulcanized rubber hoods, and Surveyor latex hoods. The hood features a Velcro adjustable strap to accommodate a wide range of head sizes.

NOTE: A Thermal innerhood MUST always be worn with the above outer hoods in order to prevent damage to ears such as reversed ear, or a burst eardrum.

The X2 Double Exhaust Valve was developed to meet the increasing safety demands from divers encountering contaminated water during day-to day-operations.

The X2 is built from a chemical resistant PC/ PBT plastic material. There are double mushroom check valves made from silicon to minimize the risk of micro-leakage which could possibly injure an exposed diver.

The Viking APEKS Inflator Valve for the UCC HD Drysuit is robust and reliable, featuring an extra-large recessed push-button allowing for easy operation with cold hands or thick gloves. The smooth back plate gives protection from uncomfortable pressure loads on the chest and prevents cold air blasts through underclothing. The valve also sits low on the chest making it less prone to snagging in BCD fixtures.

Rotation is a key feature of this valve.

The VIKING™ K72190614 Hazmat Inlet Valve is developed specifically for contaminated water diving conditions, and is equipped with a slide valve which may be closed manually enabling the diver to shut off the airflow in an emergency. This avoids the need to disconnect the hose, and eliminates the possibility of contaminated water entering the valve. This in addition to the non return valve already inside the valve. 360 degree swivel. Airflow 80 liters/min. Fitted as standard to VIKING™ HDS suits.

The Viking APEKS Low Profile Auto Dump Exhaust Valve for the UCC HD Drysuit gives effortless yet controlled hands free ascent as expanding air automatically vents from the suit.

Equipped with a manual over-ride system allowing you to vent the suit completely without disturbing your personal buoyancy setting. This valve has the lowest profile with optimum dump rate. It has an improved ratchet feel and is ergonomically designed for ease of use.
